Reason 2 Oasis of Beauty and Calm.

Living in the city makes it impossible to appreciate the magnificent beauty of the night sky. There is nothing more romantic than sitting under the stars with your partner and feeling at one with each other and the Cosmos that we are part of.
I would then whisper to her “my darling you are the most beautiful star in the whole Universe”

Reason 2. My husband and I are reaching retirement age and just want peace and quiet to enjoy nature. We love bird-watching and just being in each other’s company, appreciating our surroundings. The calm, quiet atmosphere is ideal, with the waves breaking in the distance. A picnic in the mountains will be the cherry on the top.

My favourite reason why CapeNature would be a most romantic stay is because we as humans originally came from nature and we will surely return to nature. The nature is thus part of us and to share it with another nature lover will probably be breathtaking experience. The reason why I chose CapeNature is because this is certainly the most beautiful province in South Africa being surrounded by the different oceans, covered by lovely mountains, forests, the best roads to see all these places and has the most friendly people in the country.

Romantic Walks. I married my beautiful, blue-eyed wife 33 years ago when I was only 21 and she was 19. When I think of long walks on quiet beaches, softly in conversation, or silently hand-in-hand, I smile. When I think of no cell-phone reception and no-one being able to draw her attention away from me, I smile even wider still.

While millions of people regularly watch TV programmes about nature and Wildlife we love to be in the nature and enjoying it.
Nature simply matters because it does, but also because it brings huge emotional value, it delivers a wild range of valuable goods and services that are a practical benefits to society.
Summer dips will always be amazing because our town Porterville go so hight as 45 degrees in the summer… A lovely cool wind would be a awesome…

3.Braai for two. It’s the best part because as a couple we thought we should start our own traditions in our home and having Friday steak night is one of those. Hoewever we bought a flat without a braai area so to have a braai for two sounds amazing!!!

So often we live life in the fast track and forget to take a moment and absorb the beauty and nature that surrounds us.
Cape Nature does an incredible job at conserving these beautiful untouched areas and making them completely accessible for visitors

An oasis of beauty and calm:

There is nothing more romantic than a getaway into Mother Nature, who shows off her peace through the tranquility of her mountains and rivers.
Through the magnificent display of her night lights, and the showing off of her shooting stars!
Floating on your back in one of her natural pools, and feasting your eyes on this spectacle, whilst holding onto your lovers hand, is the only Valentine gift worth sharing.

Reason 2 – an oasis of beauty and calm. We love being out in nature and appreciate God’s creation of views, fauna and flora. It will be amazing to sit at Rocherpan with a sundowner and watch how the sun sets. Later we can start a fire, have a braai for just the two of us and watch the stars.

Reason 2, we are business owners, husband and wife team and even though we work together everyday it’s not quality time as its hustling everyday to keep all the balls in the air and the stress that goes with running your own business. We need the time out of fresh air and alone time. Time under the stars to feel the air on your face and the smell of a fire to release all the daily toil . My hubby would love this as a surprise. ❤️

Should it be possible my wife & I can recharge & connect together agsin.
My son (20) has just stepped out of the “cupboard and wants leave on a 10 day “vacation” to THAILAND tgether with 4 other gay people
We are devastated & desperately need time to recharge & re-build my faith life little by little: no better place than the wild.
In a time such as now; where 50+ % of marriages end up in duvorce court, we desperately want to save our marrisge & “reconnect” with each our inner selves as well as each other to reignite our love & vows to each other. Stress & unsurity us creeping in to take its toll.

There is nothing better than the Summer dips. Sitting next to the sea and listening to the calmness of the sea. Being near to nature makes me think of the night we met and it just fills me up with love. Finding one another is the best thing ever happened to us.

I know you guys asked for one…. but I just could not decide.. below is my TOP 3… Luckily we can have all three with CapeNature and experience more than just the perfect sunset… or the romantic walks… or the calm and beauty that surrounds us. We moved house over the Xmas Season… and we still trying to get settled. That means… we didn’t get to experience the beach or pools once or we couldn’t enjoy a nice braai or even go on a romantic date. We spent all our time trying to get our house in order in the 2 weeks leave we had. We really need a break after all that stress… and some time away for ourselves. We love our girls.. but we tired of getting up at 4:30 each morning! Even on week-ends our 5 year old wakes us up by 6am. 🙁

I love nature and the closeness it brings to God… We don’t spend enough time appreciating the beauty that surrounds us as we stress over work and home mostly. For us a young, growing couple an escape just to relax would be great for our communication

    Silence.
Nowhere in our hectic, fraught, whirling city lives can we find silence.
Silence so big is presses on the eardrums.
In silence we can contemplate and truly be with the person we love.
Only in nature can one find pure, beautiful silence.

“Romantic” means PRIVATE! Where else can you experience the beauty and calm of the best of South Africa’s nature, than in the Cape!
Including high mountains, open plateau’s and scenic open beaches, while enjoying hospitality like no other, one cannot wish for more romantic anywhere else.

Experiencing nature in its pristine form is a back to Basics experience. It transports you to the root of where everything started. Stripped of all pretentiousness, it allows one to reconnect both with your inner self, as well as the significant other. Patience, beauty, peace, active silence, strength and power is ensconced into a holistic balanced experience, which results in a natural healing process (intra- and interpersonal).

Spent one of the most wonderful few days of our holiday in Rocherpan. The walks over the dunes to the lovely beach, along beautiful paths, the scenery and plant life, birds (a special love for both of us) , made each day more special than the next. The magnificent accomodation makes for long, happy evenings, enjoying nature at its best.
So many happy memories, would love to go back there..

Reason 1 – romantic walks (but all 5 reasons apply)
When we connect with nature, we like to involve all our physical senses. That`s the time when we take off our shoes, switch off our cellphones, get our feet and hands dirty and explore all there is in that area. We don’t just look at the beautiful lake, we jump in! We hike, we make fire, we smell, listen and observe! At night or during the day, we experience nature to its fullest and relax in it`s beauty. My husband of 36 years is my best friend and the only one I want to have with me on this trip.

It would definitely be number 2. An oasis of beauty and calm. Mmmm! I’m already dreaming about the serenity that’s on offer here.

My husband and I have always enjoyed the outdoors, often camping totally off the grid. A wonderfully getaway like this would be food for our souls and an absolute treat at this stage in our lives.

Rocherpan is one of my favorite places. We first discovered it in December 1967, my son spent the first few nights of their honeymoon in the original accommodation on top of the sand dune over looking the beach and the ocean and also the vlei (Pan) from behind. The accommodation was basic and primitive . My husband and I stayed there ourselves it was magic. On another occasion we were allowed to camp one new years eve out side the old education center, we met Mr Roche/ who I believed donated a portion of his farm which is now the Cape Nature Reserve!. We have since also stayed in the new Eco Friendly bungalows , it is like being transported into another world of peace , living close to nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the every day living.

    Five reasons:
    1. No technology, no gimmicks, just nature… we stand still, in time and space, face to the breeze and soak it all in. This place could be anywhere, but it isn’t. It is Palmiet – wallets forgotten, cell phones not needed, because everything I need is here.
    2. Fresh air, freedom, no traffic but the birds and the insects, liberating me and you, as we search ourselves and our souls. I want to shout at the top of my lungs, not a soul to cast a disapproving glance or and the only whisper will be the sound of your voice above the whisper of the trees.
    3. We can run, walk or turn cartwheels, walk for an hour or an entire day. I have you, a backpack with enough food and we needn’t return until sundown. And at night, the stars are like the trees in the forest, alive and breathing, forever watchful.
    4. Upon the mountain we stand as still as the trees, not totally frozen, for just as their twigs move so does our hair, in unison. With eyes closed, hair whipping our faces; air as fresh as any after a rainstorm, its peace out of the city.
    5. I treasure the long walks in nature, the kaleidoscope of colour, summer, winter, spring, autumn – all special in it’s own way, and you, my sanctuary from the busy-ness of my life. In here, sheltered by the mighty trees, an orchestra of nature, is every kind of life. I hold your hands, and feel the light of love, a brilliant white lighting the path back to our cabin. This is what it is to be happy.
