Lekkerwater
Kindly Note: Please ensure that you do not arrive at the reserve later than 18:00. Lekkerwater is situated 21km inside the Eastern Sector of the reserve. Driving within the Eastern Sector after dark is strictly prohibited. Lekkerwater is the perfect beach house. Lying in total seclusion above the beach at Lekkerwater, it is one of the best places to be during whale season. It sleeps 10 people in five rooms and is graciously appointed. There is a double bed in the main bedroom, while the other two rooms each have two single beds. The flatlet outside has two rooms which sleeps 4 people. Gas, battery-operated lanterns and diesel-generated power for lighting only. Candles supplied for emergencies. Firewood is also supplied. The lodge telephone works with a Telkom WorldCall card, available from post offices or Potberg. Cellphones cannot be relied upon out here.
