Wild Card rates for 2017-2018
The new Wild Card rates for 2017-2018 come into effect from Wednesday 1 November 2017 and CapeNature has all the information you need to stay informed about the changes.
Please note the new rates are applicable from 1 November 2017 until 31 October 2018.
Wild Card rates will increase by 8%. For example, a standard Wild Card for an individual to gain access to all parks in the Wild Card loyalty programme has increased from R515 to R540 for the year, while a CapeNature cluster Wild Card for individuals, which provides access to 24 CapeNature reserves, will increase from R455 to R490. Rates for couples and families have increased by the same percentage. FOR ALL OF THE NEW RATES, CLICK HERE.
What does this mean for current Wild Card holders?
If you currently have a Wild Card, the increase will not affect you until you renew your membership. When it is time to renew, you will be required to pay the new rate.
Remember, Wild Card Membership gives you unlimited access to most of Southern Africa’s premier conservation areas, depending on the type of cluster you choose. Membership is valid from date of purchase for 365 days and is available for an individual, couple or family (family: any two adults and up to five children under the age of 18 years). International Wild Card Membership is also available for our international guests.
How to get a Wild Card
For more information on the Wild Card programme you can visit www.wildcard.co.za.
Once you completed the application form, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with your proof of payment and your application will be processed accordingly. Once processed your Wild pack will be mailed to you.
Please note: The responsibility rests with the applicant to ensure the correct membership has been selected. No changes or refunds can be made once the card is issued.
Prices are subject to change without notice and terms and conditions apply. Certain activities at reserves and parks are excluded. Wild Cards are valid for one year from date of issue. Limited space is available on the hiking, mountain bike trails and 4×4 routes as we aim to conserve these wild places for the future. Be sure to book your place in advance. Please note that there is an extra cost involved for mountain biking at Jonkershoek Nature Reserve, as this section of the land is owned and managed by the Department of Forestry.
