Penguin Palooza 2018!

by CapeNature

On Saturday, 27 October 2018, the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB) and CapeNature will jointly host the third Penguin Palooza from 10am to 2pm at the Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty’s Bay. This annual event forms part of the month-long celebrations around marine conservation and more specifically, African penguin awareness.

Visitors will have an opportunity to view rehabilitated African penguins being released back into the wild at the Stony Point colony, and there will be a community market and educational activities, as well as a social media competition.

  • Marine Plastic Art Exhibition
  • Educational Talks
  • Mini Movie Theatre
  • Face Painting
  • Jumping Castle
  • On The Edge Restaurant

Remember that the first 100 guests get free admission and coffee, so get there early!
