The location of this cabin is heaven for the hiking enthusiast. From your doorstep, there are various Nature Reserve trails for the beginner as well as more advanced hikers. Certainly the most well-known trail, leads towards the summit of Hangklip Mountain, with breath taking views over Moonlight Bay and the Lighthouse. Definitely worth the steep climb!
Hangklip/Brodie Link Trail
Trail Length: 4.6 km
Estimated time: 2-3 hours

Clarence Road, Pringle Bay
This is quite a steep climb in the Hangklip/Pringle Bay area. Wear comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen, and a hat. Make sure to take a jacket as the weather can change quickly, carry sufficient food, water and take along your binoculars.
From the comfort of the veranda or decked area, guests are spoiled with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, Pringle Bay shoreline and also the fynbos in the area. Be sure to bring a pair of binoculars as there are many bird species which can be spotted.
Species to look out for: African Penguin; Greater Flamingo; Black Eagle; Bank Cormorant; Cape Rockjumper; Cape Spurfowl; Cape Sugarbird; Orange-breasted Sunbird; Cape Bulbul; African Black Oystercatcher
Visit Stony Point Nature Reserve in Betty's Bay for a close-up view of the Endangered African penguin and four species of Cormorant (Endangered Cape Cormorant, Endangered Bank Cormorant, Crowned Cormorant and White Breasted Cormorant).
About Bliss on the Bay
This luxury house is suited for families looking to spend time together away from home. The house is situated adjacent to a hiking trail which leads to the coastline of Pringle Bay. The house comprises a large lounge area, braai/dining room area, family bedroom (1) accommodates two adults and two children, bedroom (2) accommodates two adults with en-suite shower and toilet, bedroom (3) accommodates two adults, a loft bedroom accommodates two children, entertainment room area and reading nook. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and three bathrooms with toilets. A spacious porch at the entrance of the house, allows for a panoramic view and access to a big open fenced garden.

How to get there
From Cape Town, take the N2 north. Just before Sir Lowry's Pass, turn right on to Sir Lowry's Pass Road. At the T-junction in Gordon's Bay, turn left on to the R44 (Clarence Drive), following the road along the coast, past Rooi Els, turn right at the first sign for Pringle Bay/Hangklip.
Access to the property is via Pringle Bay security gate. Continue straight onto Hangklip Road and turn left at Stream Road. Drive straight on the gravel road towards the starting point of the Hangklip/Brodie link hiking trail. Bliss on the Bay will be on the left-hand side.
