Donation Scheme is an initiative aimed at encouraging guests to support local non-profit organisations (NPOs) within the community by donating gently used clothes, blankets, and other essential items when visiting select CapeNature reserves. Designated collection points are established at each participating reserve to facilitate donations.

All collected donations will be delivered to a local NPO, which focuses on community support and welfare.

  • Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve
    MOSAIC's mission and strategic objectives are focused on strengthening the system for the prevention and response of domestic and intimate-partner violence in its socio-economic and political context.

  • Kogelberg Nature Reserve
    Hermanus Night Shelter is committed to providing safe, reliable shelter and supportive services for those experiencing homelessness.

  • Cederberg Wilderness Nature Reserve
    BADISA is one of the largest social development organisations in Africa. The Clanwilliam branch offers child protection services.

The donation scheme aims to encourage guests to bring gently used clothes, blankets, and other essentials to support a local non-profit organisation (NPO) that serves our community.

Guests can donate gently used clothes, blankets, and other essential items such as underarm or sanitary pads. Only non-perishable items – no food items. Please ensure that all items are clean and in good condition.

Designated collection points will be set up in the reception area of each participating nature reserve. Staff will be available to assist with the process.

All collected items will be delivered to the selected registered local NPO, which will distribute them to individuals and families in need within the community.
