Endangered Species Day

10 Apr 2026

Endangered Species Day is your annual reminder that Earth’s wildlife is not just ‘nice to have’ — it’s absolutely essential, and some of its most incredible creatures are running out of time. From the silent prowl of the snow leopard to the deep-sea mystery of rare marine life, this day shines a spotlight on the animals that need our voices because theirs are fading.

Think of it as nature’s emergency broadcast: “Protect me, please!” 🌍🐾 It’s also a call to action for all of us to become everyday wildlife heroes — whether that’s learning, sharing, or simply caring a little louder. The best part? Even small actions (like spreading awareness or protecting habitats) can add up to a big roar for conservation!

International Day for Biological Diversity

Biodiversity means the variety of life on Earth, including all the plants, animals, insects, and other living things on the planet. Without these living things, the world would be a very different place. We need plants and animals to survive, and they need us to take care of them!

Protecting biodiversity is important for us all. What can you do today to help protect the plants and animals that live around us?
