Mark your calendars for Access Week, 20–26 September 2025 — a whole week when CapeNature reserves open their gates, FOR FREE, for you and your family! Yup, you read that right. Free entry to some of the most magical spots in nature, from towering mountains to splashy coastlines.
If you’re a fan of feathers and waves, you have to visit one of our coastal reserves! Come meet the African Penguins waddling along the shore like little gentlemen in tuxedos at Stony Point Nature Reserve or watch the Cape Gannets dive-bomb into the sea like feathered rockets — it's a bird party you don’t want to miss!
So don’t miss this epic nature celebration. Pack your hat, your sense of adventure, and maybe a sandwich (birds don’t share). Nature’s calling — and it wants YOU!

Whether you trek through the Cederberg, wander the wild trails of Jonkershoek, or play explorer in the Hottentots-Holland, you’ll discover rocky paths, curious critters, and epic views that will make your socks do a happy dance.
