Go on a fire-risk detective mission with an adult. Identify five potential fire hazards around your home, school, or community and explain how each one can be reduced.🐾 Fire & Wildlife Awareness
Choose a local animal and research how wildfires and drought can affect it. Create a mini fact sheet, drawing, or poster about how we can help protect wildlife.📢 Become a Fire-Smart Ambassador
Teach three people one important fire-prevention message. Ask them to make one fire-smart promise and submit a photo or short write-up of your activity.♻️ No Spark, No Problem!
Do a litter clean-up in a safe, approved area with an adult. Focus on items that could contribute to fires, such as glass, paper, and cigarette-related litter. Never handle dangerous items—report them to an adult.🏠 Report smoke and fire. Save the emergency number 112 on your phone or get your mom or dad to save it on theirs. This way, the number will always be handy on your phone to call for help.
🌳 Protect Our Green Spaces
Choose a local natural area and research how drought and fire can affect plants and habitats. Create a “Protect Our Nature” awareness message to encourage responsible behaviour.🏆 The Fire-Smart Family Challenge
