World Fisheries Day

30 Oct 2023

On 21 November we celebrate World Fisheries Day to highlight the importance of healthy ocean ecosystems and ensuring sustainable stocks of fisheries.

This year CapeNature will be hosting an Annual Fishing Frenzy for everyone that loves to fish. Fishing is a fantastic outdoor sport and can be so much fun. It is important to fish responsibly, make sure that you know what the catch sizes and limits are and what species you can catch. You should always make sure that you have the right fishing license or permit to fish.

The competitions will be hosted at Goukamma Nature Reserve. For more information email learning@capenature.co.za.
