On one of their rare breaks during the festival, the comedy troupe was whisked away by CapeNature for an outing to the entity’s award-winning Kogelberg Nature Reserve and the popular penguin colony in Betty’s Bay, Stony Point.

The event coincided with International Day for Biological Diversity – an annual calendar day set aside to bring awareness to the importance of biodiversity. This year’s theme, “Building a shared future for all life”, presented the perfect learning opportunity to guide the next generation on how they can build an inclusive future by caring for nature.
